Yoav Yair

Yoav is a renowned atmospheric scientist and currently the Dean of the School of Sustainability (בית הספר לקיימות) at IDC Herzliya. Yoav also resumed the title of project manager for the MEIDEX, the Israeli astronaut mission in 2003. Additionally, he conducted space based experiments from the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.

Yoav is extremely passionate about nature as well as the development of modern-technological-urban life. With these two passions, he strives to find the balance in order to build a sustainable future. As the planet is changing, it has become evident that our planet as a living organism, Gaia, is responding through realms such as extreme weather conditions and temperature changes. Yoav will take us through a journey of exploring and understanding such events.
